KPMG Cake Competition Winners:

What a great activity with KPMG and their Cake Competition at Florida International University! The winning team demonstrated creativity, out of the box thinking, and the effective use of all available resources.
Our team needed to reflect KPMG core value: "Are Open and Honest" on the cake. We accomplished the task by cutting a heart from the middle of the cake showing we are open to new ideas, goals, and innovation; we placed an elevated heart with a sign "Are Open and Honest" showing that honesty is very important in all organizations and within each individual.
As a team, we collaborated and worked together towards the same goal and we effectively used all our resources to accomplish the task. Indeed, there were amazing cakes at the competition but we were the only team that incorporated the actual core value words into the cake. That simple out of the box thinking made us the team winner!
